Primaniyarta Award
As stated in www.nafed.go.id, Primaniyarta takes root from the Sanskrit word that has a meaning that it is the most excellent in search for foreign exchange.
Primaniyarta (Primaniyarta award) is the highest award from the government of Indonesia given to the exporters at the national and provincial scopes for their achievements in increasing non-oil and gas exports
The Primaniyarta presence is expected directly or indirectly to have positive impacts as it will:
Motivate those start up or favorable exporters to keep up developing and increasing their export competence and capability.
Transfer knowledge from that favorable to start up exporters.
Give inspiration to the general public on how to appreciate the export profession and to take part in the export activities.
Ever since being held in 1992, exporters' participation in the Primaniyarta has continued to show an encouraging rise. In 2005, more than 5,000 exporting companies scattered across the 32 provinces were on selection by a panel of Primaniyarta juries. Participants of Primaniyarta 2005 were grouped into three categories: Exporting Small and Medium Business (SMB), Global Brand Development, Exporters with Sound Performance.
In the Primaniyarta 2007 Indonesian Export Award for small and medium enterprise exporter, Hasil Timber is awarded as nominee of entrepeneurship development.
Hasil Timber is honoured to be awarded the Primaniyarta 2008. The award was personally given by the President of Republic Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono at the opening of the Trade Expo Indonesia 2008.
